Thunderous Praise

This post was written by Larry Davis, a pastor at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD.

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4: 23-24 (NIV)

Many times our praise and worship can be connected to situations or emotions that we have. We feel we can only lead when we are in the zone or when we are gelling well with the people that we are assigned to lead with.

Take the time to check out this week's video blog by CLICKING HERE and be sure to read the scripture above.

Listen to the song, “Praise You in the Storm” , think and pray about what it means to lead and offer an offering of praise in the midst of a storm. Then this Thursday we will learn together how in the middle of our trials and hurt God can bring about the greatest praise from us and the people we lead.
